HV

Preparation

Per Litre:

  • 1g humic acid
  • 1.7g KCl
  • 0.5g Na2HPO4
  • 0.5g MgSO4
  • 0.02g CaCO3
  • 0.01g FeSO4
  • 1mL VB stock solution (added after autoclaving)
  • 10g agar
  • 1L dH2O

Instructions

  1. Combine all components (except for the VB stock solution) and mix well.
  2. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes.
  3. Add 1ml VB stock solution, mix well and pour into sterile Petri dishes.

Notes

VB stock solution: 50mg VB1 (thiamine), VB2 (riboflavin), VB3 (niacin), VB6 (pyridoxine), B5 (D-calcium pantothenate), inositol and PABA (para amino acid), 25mg B7 (Biotin),and 100mL distilled water).
