Use

pKC1132 is a suicide vector that can be used for cloning and homologous recombination experiments such as gene deletions and disruptions. It is a conjugative, non-integrative plasmid that can be used to make constructs in E. coli that can be transferred by conjugation into Streptomyces species.

  • Multiple cloning site within lacZa to allow for detection of recombinant clones

pKC1132 is a derivative of pOJ260 with a deletion between the KpnI to SpeI sites.1
