ActinoBase is intended to be a community resource for scientists working on Streptomyces bacteria and other filamentous actinomycetes. Together these bacteria account for two thirds of the known natural product antibiotics. Here we can share protocols, plasmid maps, and knowledge of these amazing bacteria and encourage others to join the field.
