Starch Casein Agar
Preparation
Per Litre:
- 10 g soluble starch
- 2 g K2HPO4
- 2 g KNO3
- 0.3 g casein
- 0.05 g MgSO4*7H2O
- 0.02 g CaCO3
- 0.01 g FeSO4*7H2O
- 15 g agar
Instructions
- Mix all the components together well, and adjust the volume with distilled water to 1 L final volume.
- Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes.
- Mix well and pour into sterile Petri dishes.
