Preparation

• 15 g Glycerol
• 0.5 g L-tyrosine
• 1 g L-asparagine
• 0.5 g K₂HPO₄
• 0.5 g MgSO₄ x 7H₂O
• 0.5 g NaCl
• 0.01 g FeSO<sub4 x 7H₂O
• 1 L dH₂O
• 20 g agar

Instructions

1. Dissolve constituents in 1L dH₂O
2. Adjust pH to 7.2-7.4
3. Sterilise by autoclaving

Uses

• Cultivation of actinobacteria
